My family and I are moving to Hawaii in a couple weeks and I'm unloading a lot of stuff. I have a box full of OS 9 and earlier CD discs to give away.

It's about one or two hundred CD's of all sorts. Includes every Mac OS that came on CD from 7.5 to 9.something. Also various softwares such as MS Office and Nisus and all sorts of misc stuff. Too much stuff for me to even look at, let alone list.

First response gets it. (I'll pay shipping.)

Henrik,

I was unable to respond to your private message. The system says there's no such user as "H е n d r i k" both in reply to a private message and in searching for the name. My guess is that it has something to do with 2-byte characters ...

Anyway, send me your address and I'll send the discs. Send it to jimmie@mac.com as I don't often look in my message box here.

Hi Jimmie,

not sure what happened - i had sent you a reply from my regular mail account on June 26 (in reply to your message of the same day that you had sent there). On the 30th i had to suddenly leave my island for a few weeks, and i am back now - but no mail from your side. Wonder what gremlin got into the system...

Anyway, hope your move is going smoothly & and best wishes for your new life!

Hello:

I'm not sure what happened either. I'm also not sure what happened to the discs. I don't have any memory of chucking them in the trash. Nor do I remember packing them but it might have happened. They may be in one of the numerous boxes stacked in my company's new "corporate world headquarters" in Kobe. I'll have a look around and also try to access my memories of those tumultuous last days packing in Ashiya.

Don't worry about them (and don't expend any sweat on this matter) - i should probably be doing other things than thinking of playing with old computers. ;-)

But... in case those disks do suddenly show up, i'll send a copy of my June 26 message to your mac.com account right now. ;-)

I got your address and if I uncover them, they'll be on their way.
