Personalized Icons-Unable To Make In Snow Leopard?
«

Since I upgraded to the latest version of the OS I can no longer cut and paste images into the icon in the Get Info box. That worked fine in Leopard and its predecessors, but not now.
I have tried unlocking the file or folder but that does not solve the issue. Is there something I am missing? Thanks.

The discussion lists on Apple.com suggest that this is a "feature" of Snow Leopard, so I guess I will have to wait for a solution.
