Had a chance to replace inner HD of iMac-24" (2.93GHz). The site was quite helpful.

1. Font glass panel removal (vacuum lifter mini; 2 sets in one --- short suction period)

No need to disassemble anything else for the hard drive.

Damaged 650GB drive was Hitachi-Global (Mar. 2009) with Apple Logo on it.
