Some bad things started happening after I loaded Lion, and one of the worse is that if I have a hard drive that is accessed by different users of my iMac, the permissions get really screwed up and I get messages that I can't do anything with the file, no matter which user accesses the hard drive. I have been able to correct it, but each time it takes an hour or more of headaches.
