Today, Monday 6/23, I am having trouble sending mail via my Mac account. Are there any other mac.com members? Are you having trouble? Is it possible Apple Mac.com could be down or could it be something else? If you are reading this you know my internet connection is working.

TIA

My Mac account resumed after awhile. I wonder if MobileMe is having growing pains? I am terribly dependent on my Mac email connections. Let us hope it was a simple glitch and not a foreshadow.

I have email accounts hosted on four different servers (don't ask!), one of which is .Mac, and they all have their moments.

I usually notice when I try to send an email and I get an alert to the effect that the password was not accepted and would I like to try a different (suggested) SMTP server and/or enter the correct password. I _always_ click "Edit message" and then retry sending. If it fails again, I click on "No" (or cancel or whatever it has) and forget about it for an hour or so. Then I try again and it works (usually).
