After updating to the new version of Opera (9.5), I noticed a small number "1" on top of the Opera icon in the dock.  The only time I had seen this before was with Eudora when I had new, unread mail.  A number also appeared then showing the number of new messages.

For the life of me, though, I couldn't figure out what this "1" signified with Opera.  I searched for messages, windows, etc. and found nothing.  And now, to compound the mystery, the number is gone.

Any ideas what this could have been?

Thanks in advance!

An RSS feed, like the number next to podcasts in iTunes?
