KMUG’s 2008 Christmas Party: The tradition is back!

When? Sunday, December 14; 6 PM to about 8 PM

Where? “Flowers,” a very laid-back trattoria and jazz club in Kurakuen (5-min walk from Hankyu Kurakuen Stn.), where we traditionally have our riverside BBQs. This station is a couple minutes from Shukukawa, a station on the express line midway between Umeda and Sannomiya.

Price: Discounted to 4,000 yen per adult, 2,000 yen per pre-teen child, free for infants and toddlers

Fare: Italian appetizers and pasta, BBQ chicken & French fries, all-you-can-drink (nomihodai) selection of refreshing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, other goodies.

Other: fun & games, entertainment, connecting with old pals, and background music by our host Yamamoto-san, a man who knows his jazz.

• Firm commitment (not ‘I might show up’) needed by Wednesday, Dec. 10; a few last-minute add-ons can be accepted by evening of Dec. 12
